190 Carthage College student-athletes were recipients of the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Academic All-Conference honors for the winter and spring seasons. This was announced on Thursday, July 18.

Miami University awarded degrees to students during spring commencement exercises Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Millett Hall.

Rockford University awarded approximately 350 students from 16 states and 17 countries undergraduate and graduate degrees.

Gettysburg College students take pride in their work, and we are likewise proud to announce their recent academic achievements. Students whose semester averages were 3.6 or above were recently placed on the Dean's Honor List. The following local students have been awarded this outstanding academic achievement in the Spring 2019 semester.

Wheaton College students (Wheaton, Ill.) were named to the Dean's List for the Spring 2019 semester.

Degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for Dean's List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of "Incomplete", "D" or "F"; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.

Miami University students who are ranked in the top twenty percent of undergraduate students within each division for second semester 2018-19 have been named to the dean's list recognizing academic excellence.

Augustana College announced more than 1,000 students were named to the Dean's List for the 2019 spring term. Students who have earned this academic honor have maintained a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher on a four-point scale for courses taken during the term.

SUNY New Paltz announces the conferral of graduate & undergraduate degrees at Commencement 2019

A total of 11,406 students enrolled during the 2019 spring term at The University of Alabama were named to the Dean's List with an academic record of 3.5 or above or the President's List with an academic record of 4.0 (all A's). The UA Dean's and President's lists recognize full-time undergraduate students. The lists do not apply to graduate students or to undergraduate students who take less than a full course load.

The Iowa State University College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Dean's List honors students who have earned a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

More than 900 students have been named to the Carthage College dean's list for the spring 2019 semester.

The Iowa State University College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Dean's List honors students who were enrolled in at least 12 credit hours and earned a 3.5 grade point average or higher for the term.

Lakeview College of Nursing recently awarded a bachelor of science in nursing degree to 52 students who attended the College's Danville and Charleston locations.

Bucknell University has released the dean's list for outstanding academic achievement during the spring semester of the 2018-19 academic year. A student must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a scale of 4.0 to receive dean's list recognition.

Bradley University announces the Spring 2019 Dean's List. To be eligible for the Dean's List a student must achieve a minimum 3.5 grade point average for the semester on a 4.0 scale.

Sophomore David Bradley picks up his first career All-Region accolade in the pole vault. His effort of 4.78-meters (15' 8-1/4") at North Central's Gregory Final Qualifier on May 15, was tied for fifth in the Midwest Region this year. Wheaton College sponsors 21 varsity sports, and Thunder teams compete at the NCAA Division III level. The Thunder Athletics program has won five NCAA Division III Championships since 1984, and Wheaton student-athletes have won 31 Division III individual National Championships all-time. Wheaton College students recently received awards from their departments at Wheaton College's Honors Convocation.

Wheaton senior Kelly Thornton earned First Team All-CCIW recognition at utility. Additionally, Thornton was recognized as the CCIW's "Player of the Year". Thornton is just the fourth Wheaton Player to win the CCIW Player of the Year award since it started in 1989. Kelly Thornton's All-CCIW selection marks her fourth career First Team All-CCIW honor, making her the second Wheaton player to earn First Team All-CCIW recognition in all four seasons of her career. Thornton had a team-high .442 (23-for-52) batting average in 16 conference games this season ranking third in the league in batting average. She hit for a .654 slugging percentage in league play that ranked second in the conference this season and her .508 on-base percentage was third. She ranked first in the league in doubles (8) in CCIW play, was second in hits (23) and total bases (34). Overall for the year, Thornton posted a .442 (57-for-129) batting average in 39 games, with a .500 on-base percentage and .674 slugging percentage. She hit four home runs this year, with 18 doubles. She scored 31 runs and tallied 37 RBI this year. Thornton tied Wheaton's single-season record for total bases with 87 this season and her 59 hits ranks second in the record books. Her 18 doubles in 2019 ranks second in Wheaton's single-season record book and her 37 RBI this year ranks fifth.
