High Achieving Students Choose Miami University

A total of 385 University of Wisconsin-Whitewater student-athletes representing all 20 of the institution's varsity sport programs were named to the 2016-17 Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Honor Roll, which was announced Monday, July 31.

Each member school in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin selects student-athletes from each of the three sport seasons (fall, winter, spring) to be honored as Academic All-Conference members. To be eligible, an individual must have an overall grade point average of 3.30 or above and must have lettered in their respective sport for that season. These are the spring and winter sport recipients.

With the conclusion of the 2016-2017 academic year, Wheaton student-athletes were honored by the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) for their work in the classroom. The Academic All-Conference team consists of letterwinners from CCIW member institutions who achieve a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 or higher.

Lakeview College of Nursing in Danville and Charleston, IL, awarded numerous scholarships for the Summer 2017 semester.

SUNY New Paltz announces the Dean's List for the spring 2017 semester. Dean's List designation is reserved for students who excel academically and earn at least a 3.3 grade-point average in a semester with a full-time course load.

Several local residents made the academic Deans' List at Azusa Pacific University. These students are honored for a spring 2017 grade-point average of 3.5 or better. They are joined by 1,957 students receiving the same honor.

Augustana College announced 977 students were named to the Dean's List for the 2017 spring term. Students who have earned this academic honor have maintained a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher on a four-point scale for courses taken during the term.

The UA Dean's and President's lists recognize full-time undergraduate students. The lists do not apply to graduate students or undergraduate students who take less than a full course load.
